Details 2.

Hey, thought I’d include an outfit I wore a little while ago, nothing special like just what I wore to the pub, looking out the window right now I can’t believe it was ever warm or sunny enough to wear something like this. Genuinely gratefully for living on a big hill, since at  bottom it is completely flooded!

Ripped Jeans, Aztec

SO, sorry again its not a full body shot, I really need to find a friend so I have someone to take photos for me. The jeans are new they are highwaisted ripped boyfriend Jeans from ASOS and have become quite the summer staple especially since the weather is so unpredictable, the top is a slightly loose fit Aztec print scallop top from Internationale  a store I loved when I was about 10 and am starting to rediscover since its cheaper than Primark and the clothes are nicer! Finally my VERY old converse, I’ve had them since I was about 13 because that was the last time I grew.

Also showing my first attempt at water marbling I think it looks ok actually was rather proud of myself !

Just a little collection of the redicilously expensive things that I have seen lately, and fallen in love with. As un-patriotic as it may be I’m absoultely loving the american flag print right now, probably a reaction to the sheer number of union jacks I’ve seen lately! but that Equipment long sleeve shirt would be so perfect with shorts this summer. My obbession with Litas doesn’t look like its yet to fade any time soon the comic strip ones completely remineded me of the Pamla Mann tights that I adored and collected when I was about 13.  Also, this summer I WILL be rocking distressed denim so much so I’ll probably kill it off – but who cares! It’s all good fun.
PS. Sorry there has been no posts of ages a combination of illness and uni exams have resulted in me doing nothing but work and sleep!!

Spring Summer Outfit: vintage levis and Joy Division

The first outfit here is a bit edgier than previous posts have been but is definitely my personal style.  hope you like it.

The 90’s are definiatly back with vengence and what better way to celebrate than with a vintage pair of levi shorts. Personally I like to start with full jeans, and cut them myself to ensure they hit at just the right point on my legs to show them best – this is particularly good if you hate the top of your thighs!!

The T-shirt here is a mens Joy Division T-shirt from pulp clothing, my current favourite band. Any t-shirt would do here and using a mens one keeps things looking relaxed . Just tie a not in the back of the shirt  or tuck it into the shorts and make sure you roll up the sleeves so it doesn’t all look too bulky !

I’ve accessoried with a straw boater rather than a trilby and this great chain mail ring from cheap monday!!.

Also swap the DM’s for Hunter wellies for instant festival chic, knee high socks a must in both cases of course.

My Uniform

On those rainy mornings with 9 am lectures and a hangover, I always reach for my uniform. I very rarely stray from black in my outfits, especially if I’m looking for something easy to wear. I much prefer to change the textures in my outfits to keep it interesting. The comfy grey jumper cosy enough to curl up in class with, the hat to hide my mess of hair, and shoes comfortable enough to trek halfway across London in (who can afford to pay for the tube!). Slap on some eyeliner, and my Parker;  I’m ready to go.

So there it is, so about the poor quality pictures
